UFC 213 Salaries: Alistair Oveerem Leads All Earners With $800,000 Payday

Alistair Overeem may not have been in the main event, but after UFC 213, he's officially taking home more than both headliners combined.

Monday, the Nevada Athletic Commission provided Sherdog.com a list of reported payouts for this past Saturday's UFC 213 card at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Overeem led all of the disclosed earners, taking home a flat $800,000 purse with no win bonus for his majority decision win over Fabricio Werdum in their rubber match. The former UFC champion Werdum made $275,000.

Both of the card's headliners, Robert Whitaker and Yoel Romero, made $350,000. Whittaker, who received no win bonus, won the UFC interim middleweight title in the main event via unanimous decision. Both men also took home $50,000 aside from the official NAC ledger, winning “Fight of the Night” bonuses on Saturday evening.

Other notable payouts include former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis ($180K), Travis Browne ($120K) and Jim Miller ($71K).

Note: The disclosed purses reported by state athletic commissions do not include any performance-based or discretionary bonuses that may be awarded to a fighter by the promotion. Additionally, the reported figures do not reflect any deductions made by the commission for taxes, insurance, etc., and do not include any sponsorship money that a fighter may acquire for their performance.
