RingTV to Stream ‘Canelo vs. GGG’ Mega Fight

Boxing fans that have ditched their cable boxes and are excited to watch the mega fight between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) and Gennady “GGG” Golovkin can watch it online.

RingTV.com, powered by FlippsMedia, announced on Tuesday that the massive middleweight world championship will be streamed live on www.ringtv.com.

Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) will look to remain perfect as a pro when he takes on by far the toughest opponent hell have faced to date. “GGG” will put his IBF, WBA and WBC 160-pound titles on the line when he climbs through the ropes inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. “Canelo” will add his Ring Magazine and lineal middleweight titles into the fold as well in what is expected to be the best boxing event of 2017, which will be promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

“Over the past two years Golden Boy Media and Entertainment has changed how fight fans watch boxing,” said Oscar De La Hoya, Chairman and CEO of Golden Boy Promotions. “We were the first boxing promotion company to live stream fights on Facebook. We were the first to stream live on Twitter, and we have invested heavily in making sure that boxing fans can choose how they watch their favorite fighters on RingTV.com. Bringing fans across the globe Canelo vs Golovkin on a world-class platform that provides a premium viewing experience helps fulfill my vision to make boxing accessible everywhere.”

“This once-in-a-lifetime boxing event continues our goal to provide top combat sports events from around the world at the highest level of digital programming,” Flipps Media COO Michael Weber added. “The Ring magazine has been known as the 'Bible of Boxing' since 1922. We're proud to be partnering with RingTV.com, which has grown Ring's powerful influence in pro boxing to a rapidly changing, increasingly younger audience, by streaming the best available boxing events and news.”

RingTV.com will stream the “Canelo” – Golovkin main card via Internet pay-per-view beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The full non-PPV undercard, as well as other fight week programming such as the pre-fight press conference, will be available live and for free via www.fite.tv and the Fite app.
