LFA 18 Weigh-in Results: Champion Kevin Aguilar, Justin Rader Cleared for Combat
Legacy Fighting Alliance is set for another event on Friday as
the Houston-based promotion heads over to FireLake Arena in
Shawnee, Oklahoma. The main event of LFA
18 will see featherweight champion Kevin
Aguilar make the second defense of his title against Justin
Rader.
At Thursday afternoon’s official weigh-ins, both men were cleared for combat.
Rader, who is coming off a dominant decision win over Emmanuel Rivera at LFA 15 in June, has won four in a row. “Darth” Rader came in at 144 pounds for the biggest fight of his career. Aguilar, meanwhile, who was the final 145-pound champ for the now-defunct Legacy FC, is riding high after knocking out Damon Jackson in spectacular fashion at LFA 4 in February. The champ came in slightly heavier at 144.4 pounds.
