Finally: Mike Pyle-Zak Ottow Officially Added to UFC 222 Bill in Las Vegas

The final UFC 222 bout has been officially announced as Mike Pyle and Zak Ottow have been added to the event on March 3 at the T-Mobile in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Las-Vegas Review Journal initially reported the fight earlier in the month.

Veteran welterweight Pyle (27-13-1) has not fought inside the Octagon since UFC 207 in December 2016 when he lost to Alex Garcia by way of a first round knockout.

Ottow (15-5) has a mixed record since joining the UFC in October 2016. He has a notable win inside the Octagon against Josh Burkman, although he’s coming off a loss to Jingliang Li by TKO last November.

UFC 222 is now headlined with a featherweight championship fight between champ Cristiane Justino against former Invicta Fighting Championships queen Yana Kunitskaya. Frankie Edgar features in the co-main event against Brian Ortega in a featherweight fight after Edgar’s previous opponent Max Holloway pulled out of the fight due to injury.
