Report: Michael Chiesa Files Police Report Against Conor McGregor

Michael Chiesa has filed a police report against Conor McGregor after he was injured during the Irishman’s alleged attack on a charter bus on Thursday in Brooklyn, New York, according to TMZ.

McGregor turned himself in at the New York City Police Department after a video of the incident surfaced. The video appears to show the him hurling objects into the bus and shattering a window. As a result, multiple fighters were injured. Chiesa sustained facial lacerations that necessitated his withdrawal from a main card bout with Anthony Pettis, and Ray Borg suffered a corneal abrasion that forced him to exit his scheduled clash with Brandon Moreno. Meanwhile, McGregor’s SBG Ireland teammate, Artem Lobov, was pulled from his booking opposite Alex Caceres due to his alleged involvement in the incident.

McGregor was in town for the pre-fight press conference for UFC 223 (now available on Amazon Prime), which is scheduled for Saturday at the Barclays Center. He has been charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of criminal mischief.
