Daniel Cormier: I'll Slap Lesnar In The Face If He Comes Into Cage At UFC 230

Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight king Daniel Cormier is set to defend his belt against Derrick Lewis on Nov. 3 in New York City and he’s fired off a warning to World Wrestling superstar Brock Lesnar, who is rumored to be in attendance for the fight.

Cormier and Lesnar are scheduled to meet early next year after the pair took part in a shoving match after “DC” had beaten former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic back in July at UFC 226. Lesnar entered the Octagon and caused a stir when he shoved Cormier in a bid to promote the potential fight with both men exchanging pleasantries before being separated.

Cormier made a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Busted Open Radio show and said that he had heard Lesnar would be in the building and warned the WWE star not to get into the cage again or face being slapped.

“I heard Brock Lesnar will be at The Garden for UFC 230. If he tries to step in that cage again, I’m going to slap him in his face. I owe him one from last time.”

A fight between Cormier and Lesnar is still not set in stone as Lesnar is currently undertaking testing from the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). The matchup also presumably hinges on Cormier getting past Lewis this weekend.
