Jotko on the fight's key moment
“I felt like I had very good conditioning for the third round, and Misha was just waiting to hold me every time. I knew I needed to put more pace, a faster fight. Before I didn’t take him down at the end of the round, I was not sure I’d win. But when I took him down, I knew I’d win.”
Jotko on Cirkunov's power at middleweight
“It was a surprise for me, because I didn’t feel his power. I was f*cking strong like him. Every time he put me to the cage, he just wanted to rest and I switched him. … My game plan? I wanted to knock him out. Every time I tried to knock him out, he just held me.”
Jotko on what he wants next
“I hope this gives me another UFC contract, because this was my last fight on the contract. I hope Dana White likes my fight, Mick Maynard likes my fights, and sends my manager another contract.”
