for their wrestling acumen, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira is in desperate need of win.
So one might find it surprising that Nogueira elected to seek that wvictory
against former UFC champion Tito Ortiz, another
man known primarily for his abilities as a wrestler.
"I had fights with good wrestlers, top fighters," Nogueira told
MMAjunkie.com in advance of his UFC 140 contest.
"Honestly, everybody is at the top level. I improved my wrestling over
the past year. I think now I'm going to show that I'm a better wrestler."

second time when the pair meets at December's UFC 140 event.
And this time, Mir wants Nogueira at 100 percent.
After Mir dispatched of "Minotauro" in December 2008, post-fight
discussion centered around a severe case of staph that left Nogueira far
from his best in the second-round TKO. Mir doesn't want to hear that
talk a second time around.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Tito Ortiz slated for UFC 140September 10, 2011 (14:30) [ Indexed from MMAjunkie ] A light-heavyweight bout between former champ Tito Ortiz and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira is slated for UFC 140.
UFC officials announced that verbal agreements are in place for the fight, which initially was slated to take place back in March.
UFC 140 takes place Dec. 10 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
